We drink through all of the water within 36-48 hours and dump out any remaining water at the bottom of the tank before starting to filter new water though the top (taking great precaution to not contaminate the bottom tank). Thus, #9 requires that the two glass jars that are shown in the video and that receive the output from our two Black Berkey filters must be capable of receiving about 1 gallon each.
